Bio

My name is Bob Davis. I enjoy history - reading about it, but especially making replicas of historical artifacts and then using them to bring history alive! I primarily do this in the Society for Creative Anachronism, where I have a persona based on history. There, my name is Robert Fairfax, the year is 1598, and I'm an Englishman from Coventry. My LJ is really a diary of my forays into making historical replicas.

My wife and I own and operate a business called Reconstructing History, which offers for sale various items of interest to the living historian. From patterns for historical clothing to yard goods to bronze needles, we've got you covered!
